Swing by the Hopelink Neighborhood Fair on Friday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and take a lap around local booths, games, and live performances that bring out the best kind of community energy. Grab something tasty while you’re there, stick around for a set, then roll into the rest of your Friday with plans still wide open.

  1. Keep the Vibe Going With Live Performances

Continue your day on a high note by making your way to the City Hall Campus for a lineup of talent. Whether you’re in the mood for laid-back acoustics or want to get moving with a DJ set, think of this as your Derby Days soundtrack. No matter if you’re singing along or just passing through, it’s worth the stop after a day full of Redmond events. 

  1. Join the Crowds at Marymoor Grand Prix

Grab a seat at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome and watch the Marymoor Grand Prix bring the fastest racing in the PNW to Derby Days. Main events kick off Friday, July 24, at 7 p.m. and continue Saturday, July 25, at 6 p.m., with top competitors and nonstop laps that keep the energy high. Come hungry, too; food trucks will be on deck, from tacos and cheesesteaks to sweet treats. 

  1. Experience Redmond in Full Color at the Grand Parade

Grab a spot along the route at City Hall for one of the most anticipated moments of Derby Days: the Grand Parade, kicking off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 25. Cheer on local performers, clap along with the music, and take in Redmond’s vibrant energy in full display. Planning to start early? The Kids Bike Parade begins at 10 a.m., starting from the Opportunity Building Parking Lot, with plenty of decorated bikes and hometown creativity to kick off your Saturday.

  1. End Your Saturday Night With a Drone Light Show

If you like keeping tabs on the best Redmond, WA events, this finale is the one you’ll be glad you stayed up for. The Drone Light Show takes over the sky at 10:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at City Hall Campus, with a cascade of light and color that makes the whole city stop and look up.
